First Lady Mrs. Lordina Mahama now has a chieftaincy title in addition to national figure as the mother of the nation. Her Excellency Mrs. Lordina Mahama has been enstooled as Sompahemaa with a stool name, Nana Akosua Fremaa Ampomah Sika I, by the Nkoranza traditional council, where she hails from. Some of the notable faces present to support the first lady include: Hon. (Ms) Hanny Sherry Ayittey Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, NDC General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia and the chiefs and people of Nkuranza area.
