Govt Sets Up Committee To Keep Track Of Presidents Promises

In keeping with the current trend of setting up committees as a solution to our worsening national problems, the government has once again set up a committee to track the presidents numerous unfulfilled promises. The Presidential Promises Tracking Committee will be responsible for keeping a record of all promises made by the President because he seems to have lost track of his own promises, revealed a Flagstaff House insider. He has promised food security, he has promised to end dumsor, he has promised to generate enough energy and export the surplus to Nigeria and he has even promised to stop promising yet he goes on giving promises. This is why he needs this committee to help him keep track. The head of the 18-member committee revealed the committee has begun work and have already compiled 1957 pages of documents containing various unfulfilled promises made by the president since the beginning of the year. He admitted that the task will be daunting given the rate of promises by the President. Its like running after a runaway train, almost impossible to keep up, but we will try our best. In the interim, the head of the commission advised the President to set up another committee to help him keep to his promise of not making any more promises.
