Ghana Champions Asante Kotoko have submitted a list of 27 players for the 2015 CAF Champions League competition. Ghanasportsonline.com can confirm. The list which includes new signings was submitted to the Ghana Football Association last week according to sources from the Club. Notable names included in the squad are Obed Owusu, Richard Oti, Akwasi Achaempong, Rashid Sumaila who returned from South Africa after an unsuccessful stint with PLS side Memolodi Soundown as well as Ivorian Import Ahmed Toure. Former Meritzburg United winger Frank Sarfo Gyemfi, goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi and Emmanuel Asante were all included in the 27 man squad. The Porcupine Warriors will be making their third successive appearance in the CAF Champions League having failed to reach the group stages in their last two campaigns.
