Court Throws Out Alhaji Grunsahs Injunction On GFAs Congress

An Accra Human Rights court has ruled out King Faisals plea to place an injunction on the Ghana FAs annual congress which will permit the First Capital Plus Premier League to commence. The Ghana Premier League has been in jeopardy following a court case between King Faisal Football Club and the Ghana Football Association. The ruling which was issued by the court on Monday has eventually steered the League to place. The latest development comes as a sign of relief for the Premier League Clubs who have been apprehensive about the impediment of the domestic top-flight. Many Premier League Clubs have been engaging themselves in several warm-up games since the setback in the Nations biggest football event. The situation means the Ghana Football Association can now fix a date for the congress which will ultimately pave way for the commencement of the 2014/2015 League season.
