GFA Expel Two Clubs

Congress, highest decision making body of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has unanimously voted to expel two clubs from the association at its gathering in Prampram on Tuesday. ����� The two, Hikari FC and Aburi Highlanders FC were expelled for taking the Eastern Regional Federation to an ordinary court. ������� The clubs, division two sides based in the Eastern Region were expelled in accordance with Article 21 Clause 1 sub Clause 4 of the GFA Statutes. ������� While one member abstained from voting, over 80 members voted in favour of the motion to expel the two clubs. ����� Meanwhile, Oteng Arthur has been referred to the Ethics Committee of the GFA for his role in the suit. Arthur, an official of Hikari FC is said to have led his side in the law suit against the GFA. � �
