Former GFA General Secretary Urges Kwasi Nyantakyi To Step Down

Former National Sports Authority boss Worlanyo Agra has urged Ghana FA boss Kwasi Nyantakyi to resign from his post as the FA president. Agra, who is currently on the CAF legal committee and a match commissioner, says the astute Football administrator should consider vacating the seat following recent criticism from the Ghanaian Football public. The former general secretary for the Ghana Football Association resigned from his post as the National Sports Authority boss after the 2011 All-African games in Maputo, a competition which was coupled with several ignominy in the camp of team Ghana. Agra in an interview with Accra-based Happy Fm called on his close pal Kwesi Nyantakyi to leave his position following recent unpleasant comments directed to the CAF executive committee member. In my estimation I think Ghanaians have lost faith in Kwesi Nyantakyi and I think is time for him to consider resigning from the post. I think he has done a lot for Ghana Football. But considering what is going on I think he must step down. There have been so many unpleasant comments and I think is not right, Let me use myself as an example. You know when this whole issue came up about Ghanas participation at the All-African games in Maputo, I had to resign because I saw those comments to be unpleasant for me Kwasi Nyantakyi has already declared his intentions to stand for the third time as Ghana FA boss when the FA election is being held this year.
