Kevin-Prince Boateng Is Back

Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng is back playing football with his Schalke side in the German Bundesliga.

The Black Stars player currently on suspension from national duty has been struggling with injuries since the start of the 2014/2015 season.

The  injuries kept him out of the game for so long getting to the end of last year as he struggled to get back to full fitness for his Schalke side since a participation in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations was out of reach due to his suspension from the senior national team of Ghana.

On Saturday, the return of Kevin-Prince Boateng was realized. Schalke 04 manager Roberto Di Matteo smoothly introduced the former AC Milan player back into the game handing him a 62 minute appearance in their 1-0 home win against Hannover 96.

On Tuesday night, Kevin-Prince Boateng’s return to football after long weeks on the sideline due to injury was made for emphatic as the Ghanaian played 86 minutes of the away game against Bayern Munich in the German Bundesliga.

Bayern Munich and Schalke 04 played in a 1-1 draw with the hosts finishing the game with ten men after brother of Kevin-Prince Boateng, Jerome Boateng was sent off.

Boteng took time to thank the fans after the game, tweeting “thx for the support” with a thumps up emoticon.
