Fans Flood Kotoka Airport - As Govt Jets Them Out To Watch Semi-final Clash

Scores of Ghanaian supporters including some government officials have gathered at the Kotoka International Airport to be jetted out to Malabo to support the Black Stars against the Equatorial Guinea.


Among the supporters travelling is Ramatu Ofeibea who has stated clearly, her intentions to contest Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi for the Ghana Football Association president slot.

The travelling supporters expressed their elation at going to offer their support to the Black Stars to ensure a resounding victory for the team. "We are happy to be called upon to go and support the Black Stars. This trip is very important that because support is key to the success of teams and I trust our support will ginger the players to win the game," Horoya, a supporters leader, told Happy FM.

Some government operatives and club officials were flown to watch Ghana's quarter-final clash against the Syli Nacionals of Guinea which raised a lot of eye brows because most of the core supporters who would have sung, drummed and danced were left out of the trip.

Ghana plays the host nation later today in an uncompromising semi-final duel and the travelling supporters are bent on offering their unflinching support to the team.
