The Black Stars forward says he is on the road to recovery and could play against Ivory Coast in the Afcon final.
Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has said he is getting better and could play in the final against Ivory Coast on Sunday.
Gyan sustained a hip injury in the quarter-final of the Africa Cup of Nations against Guinea and had to sit out in the 3-0 semi-final win over Equatorial Guinea.
“I am getting better and we will see what happens, we want to go back and rest and prepare for Ivory Coast,” the Al Ain striker told the press.
“I thank the whole of Ghana, for their support. The players every one played his heart out. I felt so sad not playing but we are all around the team. Everyone played well and I must commend my colleagues.”
