Shaving In S.A Quite Expensive...Kuffour Wanted A Free Haircut - Carl Tuffuor

Ace Sports Journalist Carl Tuffour has waded into Ex-Black Stars deputy skipper and an AFCON pundit on Supersport Sammy Osei Kufuor’s hair shave on set after Ghana's loss to Ivory Coast.

According to Mr. Tuffour, Osei Kuffour who was an AFCON pundit on cable TV Supersport pledged to shave his hair on set if Ghana lost the AFCON final last Sunday.

Ghana lost, and the former Black Stars player was duly shaved on set.

But Carl Tuffuor insists Sammy Osei Kuffour was just looking for a free haircut, since shaving in South Africa is quite expensive.

Speaking in an interview with Adom TV News, he said “I in particular do not see the sportsmanship in that shave, Sammy himself needed someone to give him a shave but I thought Sammy did a fantastic job. “Sammy even wished they shave his beard as well since shaving in South Africa is quite expensive otherwise he would have waited till he comes to Ghana to pay GH₵5.00 for it but he has done well."

The Sports analyst suggested that Black Stars coach Avram Grant should maintain the squad because they gave their best.

“Avram should maintain the Black Stars team and rather train them because they really did well" he posited.
