IMANI Ghana Boss Demands Full Detailed Account Of AFCON Budget In Four Days

The President and Founder of IMANI Ghana, Franklin Cudjoe has giving the Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon Mahama Ayariga four working days to give full details of Ghana’s 2015 Africa Cup of Nations budget.

The IMANI boss’s call has added up to sports commentators and journalists call on the minister to explain into details the budget.

Even though the Mr. Ayariga who refused to disclose the budget to Ghanaians before the just ended tournament revealed to parliament recently that an amount of GH₵17.9million or US$8million was spent at Equatorial Guinea and preparations towards the tournament which Ghana placed second.

Hon. Mahama Ayariga however defended his budget by saying “it is the lowest AFCON budget of all time in the history of Ghana.”

But, Franklin Cudjoe took to Facebook to demand the full details of the budget.

“Mr. Mahama Ayarigah, Minister of Sports, may you kindly give me a detailed account of how you spent nearly $8m on Ghana's participation in the recently held AFCON? I will appreciate a response in four days. Thank you,” he said.
