Heads Roll In Kotoko

Panic and anxiety has hit the Kumasi Asante Kotoko family following plans of a possible overhaul of the team.

The overhaul could affect management, technical team, playing body and anyone who has a role to play in the Kotoko setup.

Already, head coach Mas-Udi Didi Dramani has been asked by management to proceed on an accumulated leave of about 120 days while the Ghana Premier League is in session.

Kotoko’s Communications Manager, Kwaku Ahenkorah, who made the disclosure, said “nobody is safe in the Kotoko family now.”

He explained that the Kotoko Board is not happy about the club’s performance in the league where they have won just two games in six matches.

As a result of this, he said the board has embarked on a review to ascertain where the problem is emanating from.

“Yes there will be possible changes in Kotoko in the coming days, but I cannot stick my neck to name the affected parties.”

Ahenkorah, who was speaking on Angel FM, stated that nobody in the Kotoko family including himself (Ahenkorah) is safe.

Kotoko, he said, want to return to winning ways; therefore anybody who is not doing his/her work well would be axed.
