Fast rising Television News Anchor Emmanuel Kwasi Afriyie got married to his longtime lover over the weekend.
Emmanuel and his beautiful girlfriend Ann exchanged vows on Saturday March 14 2015 at St. Giles Conference Centre on the Spintex road in Accra. Prior to the white wedding on Saturday, the new couple had their engagement or traditional wedding on Friday with few close friends family present.
The simple and classy wedding ceremony was well attended by colleagues of the couple, friends and family. Some notable faces included news anchor Nana Akua, Zenaida Morison, Chantelle Asante of Viasat 1, Ekuba of GTV who was also the MC among others.
Emmanuel Afriyie is a known face on Viasat1 News and has distinguished himself with diligence and commitment. However, Peacefmonline.com is reliably informed that he no longer works with the Labone based TV station.
According to a source, Emmanuel left Viasat1 about a month ago and is currently pursuing Master’s Degree in business administration at the University of Ghana and his wife Ann who hails from the western region works with a financial institution as an investor.
Emmanuel and Ann have been dating about seven years now since their days on campus as students at University of Ghana and they finally decide to make their relationship official.
