Just after days been unveiled as the new coach of Asante Kotoko, David Duncan has rebutted to some comment made by a former assistant coach of the side, Opeele Adede Boateng on his appointment as the new taskmaster of Kotoko.

Opeele who was once a coach of the porcupine warriors last Friday had some words of admonishing for his fellow brother on radio sports program cautioning the current to be mindful of his utterances.

“I advise Coach David Duncan to stop talking because he is talking too much,”Opeele said.

“If he’s not careful, the media in Kumasi will incite the fans against him in three months because in Kumasi they can do sports from 6am-6pm and even midnight”.

Minutes after the former coach has some words of advise for the current, Sports Journalist Saddick Adams of Atinka Fm captured the above quote in the text and posted on his facebook wall.

Duncan who is also active on the social media platform facebook saw he post but had no other choice than to react with the comment under the post in relation to what Opeele said about him.

“@Saddick Adams…Opeele should point out to me the number of platforms, places I have been “talking too much” in the last year or so if indeed that was his quotes”.

Coach David Duncan is famously known in Ghanaian football landscape as an outspoken coach who always stands by principality.
