25th March was Blakofe's birthday. This year also marks her 20th year in showbiz. To celebrate this double whammy, Blakofe hosted some of the pioneers of contemporary Ghanaian media/entertainment on the Morning Ride (sitting in for Anita Owusu who's on leave). American superstar Columbus Short was in the house to help her cut her cake. Blakofe started the show by thanking Nat Lomo-Mainoo for being the first person to have had the confidence and courage to put her on TV. In her 20 year media career, Blakofe has succeeded as a Copywriter, Producer, Presenter, Event Organizer, Creative Thinker and Content Developer. She's currently heading the Entertainment Department at Metro TV.
