Save Yourself From Humiliation Jumah To Mama Pat

Former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Asokwa, Maxwell Kofi Jumah is urging his opponent to rescind her decision to contest the party’s upcoming parliamentary primaries.

According to him, Madam Patricia Appiagyei risked being humiliated at the primaries because majority of the delegates would vote against her.

Kofi Jumah made the observation on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Wednesday after a group of polling station executive from Asokwa picked forms for him to contest.

The group which hitherto supported and campaign vigorously for Mama Pat believes the former MP unlike the incumbent is the best bet for the NPP ahead of the crucial 2016 general elections.

In support, Kofi Jumah said it will be better if the incumbent throws-in the towel before the June primaries.

Citing himself as an example, Kofi Ghana as he is popularly called said he was humiliated in the 2011 primaries because he failed to heed to wise counsel and “ I don’t want Mama P to face a similar fate”.

“I will advise her not to contest because the grounds is not favourable for her but if she does, I will give her a run for her money,” he added.
