Organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards have over the years have remained tightlipped on who hosts the event prior to the awards night and this year is no exception.
There have been several discussions and questions as to who would host this year’s 16th edition of the VGMAs with names like KOD, KKD and Chairman Kwami Sefa Kayi coming up but from the information Peacefmonline.com has gathered, it appears none of the above would mount the stage come Saturday April 11, 2015.
According deep throat sources at Charterhouse, Radio/TV host Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) and rapper Eazzy who have hosted the event for past two years are also out of the picture. The pair will not be returning as host for the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Reliable information gathered by Peacefmonline.com indicates that the ceremony at the Accra International Conference Centre on April 11 will be hosted by TV host and actress, Joselyn Dumas and Chris Attoh.
The two used to host CharterHouse’s hit TV show, ‘Rhythmz’ together and it would be interesting to see their reunion on stage. Chris Attoh has hosted the ceremony before but this would be the first time for Joselyn Dumas.
Over the years Kwami Sefa Kayi (who hosted it for 8 years), KKD, KOD, Chris Attoh, Doreen Andoh, Dentaa, Samini, Obour, Funny Face have all taken their turns on the VGMA stage.
