Ghanaian movie actor, Majid Michel may not be known as a football person. in Ghana but he definitely has a heart for footballers across the globe.
The renowned Ghanaian actor admitted he had a different impression about footballers until he finally made his footballing debut.
“I tried playing football once and I realize why they were paid so highly.
“I used to say footballers were ridiculous but after trying to play in a movie in Nigeria where I was cast as a football player, that perception changed.
“I couldn’t catch my breath after the first six minutes. They even had to stage the pitch to fake a goal but I still couldn’t do it. I have respected every footballer since then and always will”.
