Akufo Addo and Daddy Lumba In Talks Over Yentia Obia?

Mythical High-Life artiste Dady Lumba born Charles Kojo Fosu has paid a courtesy call on the flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party [NPP], Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at his Nima resident in Accra.

It is uncertain as to what the two discussed during the short visit after which Nana Addo delightfully announced the award winning artist official visit on Facebook.

“Daddy Lumba and his son, Charles Kojo Fosu jnr, paid me a visit in my office a few minutes ago” Nana Addo posted on Facebook

However, an undisclosed information to Peacefmonline.com indicates that, the duo among other issues discussed mentioned Lumba’s hit song ‘Yentie Obia’ as a possible campaign song for the NPP come 2016.

The popular hit track “Yentie Obiaa” by the Highlife guru appears to be dominating not only in entertainment circles but also in the country’s political arena, as it is gradually becoming a conduit for which some politicians communicate to their audience.

Lumba is a hit maker and anything he drops becomes an instant hit – he is the only one who knows how he does it.

Daddy Lumba’s Yentia Obia track is now a hotcake yet to be grabbed as campaign song for both ruling NDC and opposition NPP.

President John Dramni Mahama has publicly appealed to Lumba aka ‘DL’ to let him have the copyright of the song after he openly danced to it with the King of the Ashanti Kingdom, Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II during an occasion in Kumasi last year. Watch the video of smash hit "Yentie Obia":
