DKB Cancels Demo: Joins Yvonne and Sarkodie For #Dumsormuststop Vigil

After Yvonne Nelson shared with her fans her intention to hit the street of Accra on 16th May for #dumsormuststop vigil with support from Rapper Sarkodie, the king of GH comedy Derick Kobina Bonney popularly known DKB who was working on a massive celebrity ‘dumsor’ demo has decided to cancel his plans and join forces with Yvonne Nelson and Sarkodie on Saturday May 16 to lead the #Dumsormuststop vigil.

Speaking to Peacefmonline.com DKB disclosed that he believe they are all fighting the same course so there is no point doing a demonstration on a different day and holding a vigil on another day.

“So I have decided to join my colleagues Yvonne and Sarkodie on the vigil to make biggest and have a louder voice because we are all Ghanaians and we have equal rights”.

DKB who earlier on decided to lead all the celebrities to demonstrate against the government on the persistent electric power outage, which the government seems not to ready to solve any time soon has joined hands to enlarge the movement.

According to a close source DKB took the decision to join Yvonne Nelson, Sarkodie, EL and other Celebrities since they share common goals in drawing the government attention to solve the #Dumsor issue which seems to be getting worse day in and day out. Also sources say,

DKB has sent out official invitation to his celebrity friends Stoneboy, Afia Shwarzneggar, Andy Dosty, Naa Ashorkor and other excelling members in the fashion, music, and movie and comedy industry.

“I want to use this opportunity to invite all Ghanaian celebrities, the general public, the media and anybody who can make it to the starting point to join us tell the government and the world that we deserve better”.

The vigil starts from University of Ghana stadium from 5pm to the park by villagio. Dress code is black and people can come with candles, torch lights and any form of light producing item to express the anguish #dumsor has reduced us to.
