Three of America’s A-list female celebrities and Hollywood fashion ‘killers’ stunned on the red carpet at the just ended Met Gala Ball 2015  which took place in New York on Tuesday May 5, 2015.

Reality TV Super star Kim Kardashian West, unpredictable “Rude Boy” Singer Rihanna and Queen B graced on the fundraising event’s red carpet with jaw dropping dresses.

Call it battle of dresses or fashion competition. The three sexy ladies made sure they caught the most attention. Mrs. Kim Kardashian West stunned in a sheer Roberto Cavalli gown, Beyoncé aka Mrs. Carter stormed the red carpet Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci Tulle and Stone Embellished Sheer Gown and Rihanna appeared wearing a huge yellow gown designed by Chinese designer Guo Pei.

Perhaps what Beyonce and Kim had that Rihanna didn't have is a man by her side. Both Kim Kardashian and Beyonce were on the red carpet with the husbands Kanye West and Jay Z whiles single Rihanna took the red carpet attention all alone. 

The Met Gala, formally called the Costume Institute Gala and also known as the Met Ball, is an annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York City. It marks the grand opening of the Costume Institute's annual fashion exhibit. Each year's event celebrates the theme of that year's Costume Institute exhibition, and the exhibition sets the tone for the formal dress of the night since guest are expected to choose their fashion to match the theme of the exhibit. Each year the event also has honorary celebrity event day chairpersons.

The Met Gala — also known as The Met Ball or "fashion prom" — took place Monday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The annual fundraiser's theme this year was "China: Through the Looking Glass." Guests were encouraged to dress in theme.
