The Managing Editor of the Al-Hajj Newspaper, Alhaji Bature believes NPP’s flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo is the cause of all the internal dispute in the party in recent times.

“Although the NPP has always had problems, the disagreements have increased since Nana Akufo-Addo was chosen as NPP flagbearer in 2007,” he asserted on AdomTV's Badwam. 

Nana Addo’s attendance at recent NPP’s emergency Steering Committee meeting signal that fact that he want to trouble the party.

In his opinion, the decision to take part in such a meeting, when he knew the National Chairman, Paul Afoko and General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong would both not be present, was a sign that Nana Addo ‘endorses indiscipline’ in the party.

A situation he noted, will affect the party’s chances of winning the 2016 elections.

According to him, Nana Addo’s hold at the helm of affairs in the NPP will never win them power unless there is a change in leadership.
