NPP Has Made Things EasyThey Would Win 2016 Elections For NDC- Alhaji Dori

As the internal wrangling in the New Patriotic Party continues to deepen, a leading member of the National Democratic Congress, Alhaji Ibrahim Dori, has stated that their arch rival are making things easier for them to win the 2016 elections.

Alhaji Dori a former TEIN president of the University of Ghana spoke to Peacefmonline.com over the ruckus which was created by the Steering Committee of the NPP when they convened an emergency meeting in the absence of the National Chairman and the General Secretary.

He also touched on the commotion created by the waiver letters issued by the NPP’s General Secretary, Kwabena Agyei Agyapong, to some Parliamentary aspirants who have stepped out to contest in the party’s parliamentary primaries.

His waiver letter which was authored by the Mr. Agyapong directed that three (3) parliamentary aspirants pay GH¢15, 000 instead of the required GH¢30, 000 but his directive were flouted and rejected by the Greater Accra Executives of the party.

The rejection of the waiver has generated friction within the party and the series of bitter occurrences convinces Alhaji Dori that the NPP, is propelling the NDC to an easy victory in 2016.

“The NDC is doing all the hardwork but I can confidently tell you that the NPP is watering and ploughing the hard grounds for us. They are going to win the 2016 elections for us (NDC)”, he said.
