Hearts For Tunisia Tomorrow

Accra Hearts of Oak will leave for their CAF Confederation Cup match against Esperance tomorrow.
 
Hearts have been drawn against the Tunisians in the finalpreliminary qualifying round in a repeat of their 2000 CAF Champions League final clash.

Hearts however go into this tie as the underdogs following their unimpressive exploits in African club competitions in recent years.

Herbert Addo has nevertheless revived the belief in the side following impressive wins in particular away from home in their current African campaign.

The experienced trainer is expected to lead his team out of Accra on Wednesday ahead of the first leg clash in Tunis on Sunday.

An 18-man playing body is expected to be named by coach Herbert Addo this evening ahead of the trip.

They will be joined by seven technical team members and a delegation from management.

Meanwhile, players of Hearts toured the Hydro Power Generation facility in Akosombo over the weekend ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup clash with Esperance.

They have moved camp to Akuse over the past week to intensify their preparationsagainst the Tunisian giants this weekend.

The tour was to distress the players whose workload appears to have doubled ahead of their trip to Tunisia.

They were also took lessons on various operations of the facility and the current challenges facing it which has plunged the nation in darkness for over two-years.
