Andre Ayew Confirms Olympique Marseille Exit

Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew has announced his departure from Olympique Marseille at the end of the season.
 
The Ghanaian talisman has declared his imminent move away from the former French Champions after eight years at the Club.

Ayew has been heavily linked with several top Clubs in Europe including Liverpool, Tottenham Hostpurs, AS Roma and Bayern Leverkusen.

The 25-year-old has been an instrumental figure for Olympique Marseille since joining the Club at a tender age in 2007.

The former Ghana U20 skipper after his side’s 4-0 thrashing over Lille in the French Ligue 1 on Saturday confirmed he will be leaving the Club after the season.

A statement on the Club’s website reads:  “Very moved, André Ayew announced his departure from the OM at season's end, micro Laurie Samama on OMtv after the victory of the OM in Lille at the 37th day of Ligue 1 2014-15 (0-4 ).” 

The workaholic midfielder has netted 10 times in 26 appearances this season for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
