Outgoing Graphic Showbiz editor, Nanabanyin Dadson, simply called Uncle Nab had a double celebration last week Friday as he bade farewell to his office as well as celebrated his 60th birthday. After over three decades with the Graphic Communications Group Limited, he said his goodbyes as he hit the compulsory retirement age. What was to be a day of mixed feelings for him ended up being a big surprise and celebration as Showbiz surprised him with a drink up while the entire editorial of the Graphic Group presented him with a refrigerator. Almost every staff at editorial had only kind words for the affable editor, describing variously as 'the can-go-to', the 'say it as it is,' and 'always with an alternative' boss. For him, he was too moved to give a speech, but managed to chip in:'Thank you for everything, my time here with you have been worth the while.'
