Reports in the Egyptian media are claiming that giants Al Ahly are making frantic efforts to on the offensive to recruit the Ghana international Esperance Sportive de Tunis Harrisson Afful.

According to Express FM radio, the head of recruitment of Egyptian club arrived in Tunis to finalize the transfer.

It must be recalled that the Egyptian giants have for long expressed interest in the Ghana World Cup defender and would seize the opportunity to pounce for him.

The Ghanaian's contract with Esperance Sportive de Tunis will expire on June 30 and has rejected a new improved deal at Rades and has told Esperance he wants to leave the club when the transfer window reopens.
