Ace Hood Fires Sarkodie For Lying

There is mounting pressure on ace rapper Sarkodie to respond to accusations by American rapper Ace Hood that he [Sarkodie] lied about events leading to a recent collaboration to produce a song called “New Guy.”

An obviously unhappy Ace Hood on his twitter page denied Sarkodie’s claims that he [Ace Hood] contacted the Ghanaian rapper, asking for the collaboration on the song.

According to the American rapper, Sarkodie rather paid a whopping $25, 000 before he agreed to join the project.

Sarkodie was in Miami, US, last week to shoot a music video with Ace Hood and as a result, he was unable to attend to the much publicized ‘DumsorMustStop vigil’ which he jointly organized with Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson.

Upon his return however, the BET award winner granted a radio interview and said that Ace Hood approached him with the offer but to clear all doubt, he [Sarkodie] got his agents in the US to verify.

An excited Sarkodie said he was humbled by the offer because “mostly it happens the other way round when Africans try to get the attention of these people.”

According to Sarkodie, Ace Hood has an impressive fan base in Accra and that “when he [Ace Hood] kind of out what was happening in Africa, [he] looked at the bunch of people he can connect with, the type of sound that he was looking for and then lucky for Sark it was me.”

But after these revelations hit the internet, an angry fan of Ace Hood in a tweet warned Sarkodie to desist from spreading false rumours about the American rapper.

Another person in defence replied that the news on the web may not be entirely the truth.
