I Want To Contest Obour OB Demystery

From singing political songs to commercial songs, Dennis Boafo who has affectionately branded himself as O.B will surely not lack content in his music due to his song writing abilities.

Under the directions of some concerned relatives, O.B has decided to produce good commercial songs like Odo which is a typical highlife song currently enjoying massive airplay on radio stations like PEACE FM, Okay FM, Hits FM, Adinka FM and many others, and the yet to be released Shake Your bottom.

According to O.B, the Ghanaian music industry doesn’t restrict an artiste to a particular genre of music because the patrons accept songs that are nice, not necessary the genre. He said, “I write and compose all genre of music and I am ready to give out my best since Ghanaians have grown to understand music to some extent.”

O.B told Flex newspaper that he will aspire for the Musicians Union of Ghana presidency some years to come because he has a lot to offer in the music industry.

“Being in the music industry for past a decade, I have been managing and producing myself and by his grace I have come this far. I have been doing political songs over years and it didn’t go well with me. Currently, I have decided to do commercial music to sell my brand that is why I recorded Odo and the other tracks. I will be releasing new songs every month and will later launch my album,” O.B said.

“It hasn’t been easy but with determination, I will make it to the top and also rub shoulders with the A class artiste in the country. Rome was not build in a day and I know being a musician is not a competition with someone because every individual is unique in his own way,” he concluded.
