Afoko And Agyepong Must Step Down For Peace To Prevail - Dr. Amoako Tuffuor

As elders of the New Patriotic Party continue to share their thoughts and views on the division that is gradually seeping and gaining roots into the party, Dr. Amoako Tuffuor has offered his opinion.

Upon visiting party members in London, he revealed to them that he was personally shattered by the “disgraceful murder” of Adams Mahama, a former Upper East Regional Chairman for the NPP.

He therefore appealed to the National Chairman, Mr. Paul Afoko and General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong to quickly step aside whiles investigations surrounding the murder of the Adams continue.

Dr. Amoako Tuffuor claims that the NPP is currently in a state of despair due to the bad manner in which the two executives were steering affairs of the party.

“The continuous embarrassment that we are facing within the management of the party must end. Paul Afoko and Kwabena Agyepong must step aside for peace to prevail,” he said.

He asked party members to stay focused as they mourn their “dear friend, brother, husband and father” and assured the party members that even though they shall lose the solid impact of the late Chairman, Adams Mahama, they would convincingly win the 2016 elections with Nana Akufo-Addo in charge.
