Abstinence From Sex Is Okay To Certain Age Actress

There have been many advocate of ‘no to sex before marriage’, while other school of thoughts believe educating a child about the topic is what is essential.

But for Nollywood actress, Sharon Ezeamaka, she is not totally against abstinence from sex, but would prefer those in their adolescent stage to be taught properly on $ex.

Sharon, who has been involved in the acting business since her childhood days, and recently acted in an HIV/AIDS advocacy movie, told The Nation that, “I am not completely against it, but the truth is young people would always do the opposite of what you tell them to do anyway. If you tell them to abstain, it would only make them want to do it more.”

She said further that, “So, I think the best we can do is to teach them how to be safe. But, I mean, abstinence is fine. I mean, to a certain age, yes, you should totally abstain.

“But, at some point, you’d want to experiment, and you’d want to do everything else, so you might as well just learn how to be safe, and ensure that the moment you’re having sex, you’re not getting STDs, or getting HIV, or getting pregnant when you are not ready to have children.”
