NPP Parliamentary Primaries Not Suspended Kwabena Agyepong

General Secretary of the opposition New Patriotic Party [NPP], Kwabena Agyepong has given the clearest indication yet that the party’s 2015 Parliamentary primaries would come off as scheduled.

According to a press release from the party’s General Secretary, 13th June, 2015 is the date for the primaries – maintaining that the date has not been changed as speculated.

Reports indicated that the NPP Parliamentary primaries might be suspended due to the party’s resent internal squabbles.

But Kwabena Agyepong confirmed in the release that with the exception of Bia East, Bia West, Juaboso, Akontombra, Nadowli-Kaleo and Nkwanta South constituencies where executives of the party have requested a postponement of their primaries, all other constituencies would hold their primaries on the schedule day.
