�It Doesn�t Make Sense To Make Up A Young Person To Play An Elderly Role" - Fred Amugi

Veteran actor, Fred Amugi in an interview with Jessica Opare-Saforo on Citi fm�s traffic avenue show has revealed that his favourite all-time actor in Ghana is Pusher. When asked why he chose Pusher over the rest, he said, �he is very versatile, humble, a good listener, when he doesn�t agree with you, he would approach you in the right manner. Indeed, Adjetey is just the best among the best of all actors here in Ghana.� On what he makes of young actors and actresses being given elderly roles in movies nowadays, he made it known that he is totally not in the support of it and that it doesn�t happen anywhere in the world, he said, �It doesn�t make sense at all making up a younger actor or actress to play older roles in movies, it just doesn�t make sense�. The ace actor added that a newly born baby can�t be given an adult role to play and vice �versa, so the use of young actors and actresses for old roles in movies has to stop. He added that they, the older folks are alive and kicking and should be given those roles to play accordingly. Fred Amugi is known for his role in movies such as the pledge, the cursed ones, the destiny of lesser animals and more.
