Sources in Turkey indicate the domestic giants have entered talks with the Ghana forward.
Galatasaray are keen to sign Ghana forward Andre Ayew and have entered talks with the player, according to reports in Turkey.
Newspaper Hurriyet [via Turkish Football] report that the domestic giants are keen to recruit the player when his contract at Olympique de Marseille comes to an end at the beginning of July and have offered him a new deal worth �2.5 million-per-season.
While Gala would not need to pay a transfer fee to sign the player, they will be expecting to also offer Ayew a generous signing-on figure in order for him to opt for them over his other suitors.
Interest in the player is stiff, with a plethora of major sides from across Europe being linked to the forward.
The likes of Bayer Leverkusen and Inter Milan have shown reported interest in the player, although Champions League side AS Roma are believed to be out of the running after contract talks with the Black Star broke down at the end of May.
There is also considerable interest from the Premier League, which is believed to be the player�s preferred destination.
Newcastle United have ruled themselves out of a move, due to Ayew�s contract demands, but Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are believed to be keen on the 25-year-old. On Tuesday, former Spurs and Hammers boss Harry Redknapp took to Twitter to claim that another EPL outfit, Swansea City, were closing in on a deal for the playmaker. Ayew was believed to be set for a medical at the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday evening.
However, it remains to be seen whether Liverpool�Dede�s boyhood club�will also look to make him a contract offer before he agrees to switch elsewhere.
Indeed, Galatasaray may be an appealing prospect, particularly if Schalke 04 midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng�Andre�s international teammate�also opt to move to Istanbul. The likes of John Boye, Waris Majeed and Daniel Opare all currently play in the Super Lig and the Turkish top flight has become something of a haven for Ghanaian players.
Should he move to the Turk Telekom Arena, Ayew would be an upgrade on Macedonia forward Goran Pandev, the outgoing attacker he may well be set to replace at the club.
