Eazzy Thrills Fans In Takoradi

Fans of Afropop songstress, Eazzy, in Takoradi, were treated to an exciting time with the singer when she performed at the Vienna City Beach last week Saturday.

Eazzy’s fans turned up in large numbers at the venue despite the rains to catch a glimpse of the singer who performed a selection of some of her old hits songs and a number of new ones including Ginger and Burning Love.

In an interview with Eazzy on Friday, she expressed admiration at the support from the crowd who defied the rain to attend the concert. She described the event as an exciting one.

“The concert was the main event but it was preceded by a number of activities including photoshoots with the fans, fashion shows among others which afforded the fans an opportunity to interact with me on a personal level, she said.

Eazzy, real name, Mildred Ashong, added that following the success of the show in Takoradi, she was planning to replicate the event across the country in the form of a nationwide tour.

“The last time I went on a nationwide tour was some years ago but I plan to do so very soon especially in the run up to the launch of my Rangers album.

“The album is almost complete and the singles that were released off it, Ginger and Burning Love, have been getting tremendous airplay and patronisation from the fans,” she said.

Eazzy told Showbiz that she planned to release another single from the album and asked fans to keep monitoring her social media platforms for a definite date on when the album would be launched.

Eazzy has been in the limelight since she officially took music as a career in 2009. Some of her hit songs include Wengeze, Emergency among others.
