Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has lauded duo David Accam and Jeffery Schlupp for their debut international goals for the Black Stars. Both players scored their first ever goals for Ghana in the Black Stars 7-1 mauling over Mauritius in an AFCON qualifier last Sunday. Schlupp, 22, struck in the 71st minute after a nice build up by teammates Baba Rahman and Emmanuel Agyemang Badu. Accam registered his name on the score sheet with a sublime finish on the stroke of full-time after receiving a pass from his captain.
