Kevin-Prince Boateng Could Rejoin AC Milan, Claims Agent

The Ghana international's representative says the Rossoneri are one of several options for his client, who was suspended by Schalke in May. Kevin-Prince Boateng's agent has confirmed the attacking midfielder could rejoin AC Milan this summer. The Ghana international spent three years at San Siro, winning the Serie A title in his first season at the club before departing for Schalke in August 2013. However, Boateng is now set to leave Gelsenkirchen after being suspended indefinitely by the Bundesliga club on May 11 following a loss to Koln. The 28-year-old's representative, Federico Pastorello, is now weighing up offers for his client but admitted that a return to the Giuseppe Meazza is a possibility. "Boateng to Milan? It's an idea we're working on," the agent wrote on Twitter. "We're looking for the best solutions for this great player. AC Milan are certainly one of these." Milan, who handed Sinisa Mihajlovic the coaching reins after sacking Filippo Inzaghi on Tuesday, are expected to spend big this summer in a bid to reclaim their place among Italy's elite after last season's dismal 10th-placed finish in Serie A.
