Patience Nyarko Releases "Wafom Kwan" Album

After enjoying airplay with her first album Mekasa Ama Awurade which had popular song Menwu in 2013, gospel musician Patience Nyarko is back with another album titled W’afom Kwan.

W’afom Kwan which is her second album has songs like Medo No, Ebenezer, Apam Bi Mu Nti, Wodaada, Oko No and Anibre Mpeaye. Sound engineers Nacy, George Forest, Dan Bassey and RoRo worked on the nine track album which has five praise songs, three worship songs and a jama song.

Patience wants to shine among her peers this year and she used W’afom Kwan to tell God to open door for her.
On W’afom Kwan, Patience is heard telling Satan he has failed if his decision is to bring her down. She explains that she is going to shine no matter what the devil does because she worships a living God.

As a Christian who has never been disappointed by God, Patience advised every believer to wait upon the Lord because he is the only true God. Nacy never goes wrong with his instrumentation and he did a wonderful work on W’afom Kwan which Patience is currently promoting.

Anibre Mpeaye is Patience’s favourite track. On it, she tells Christians to be prayerful and never cease prayers because the end time is near. According to her, it is only when we do the works of God and pray without ceasing that God can bless us.

George Forest made Anibre Mpeaye a great one by providing a good beat. Perhaps Patience wants the best which is why she went in for the best sound engineers Nacy, George Forest, Dan Bassey and RoRo to work on her latest album. With good voice coupled with powerful lyrics and instrumentation, Patience Nyarko has hope of making it soon with her latest album.

In an interview, Patience Nyarko who had three nominations in 2013 with her hit song Menwu said her latest album which was launched at Light FM in Achimota last Friday is going to go places. “I take my time and do a great job that is why I went for the best sound engineers to work on this album. It is better to spend and get the best out of whatever you do than to go for something cheap and do a shoddy work” Patience stated.

Patience who doubles as a hairdresser won new artiste of the year at Adom FM, Gospel Music Awards in 2013. She was nominated for Gospel Artiste of the Year, Gospel album of the year and Gospel Song of the year at 2013 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
