Van Vickers Impersonator Proposing Marriage

Has renowned Ghanaian actor, Van Vicker professed love to you recently via social media?

Well, don’t call the wedding planner just yet. Chances are that you may have been one of several victims of a scam involving the impersonation of the movie star.

According to Van Vicker, he has received complaints of a Facebook account in his name which had reportedly been proposing to random female fans.

In a video posted on his official Facebook page on Wednesday Vicker sought to debunk claims that he has asked women on Facebook for money, stating that this was the work of an imposter.

“Lately there have been too many complaints about a Van Vicker online asking ladies for money and or professing love. I’m inspired to do this video because I want you to beware. If a Van Vicker asks you for money do not send it, if he says he loves you, do not believe it, if he says he is getting a divorce to marry you, do not believe it, if he says he is stranded at the airport and needs some money and will pay you later, do not send it,” the actor said in his video.

The actor added that he was “tired of the scam and ladies walking up to me like I’m their lover because this Van Vicker online has been loving too many women already. So beware, it’s not me. Don’t send money, don’t believe his vibes that he loves you. Beware.”

For anyone who wants to ‘remain connected’ with the actor, check on his official Facebook page (Van vicker – iam_vanvicker) revealed the actor presently has over 47,000 likes.
