Hearts of Oak Part Ways With Coach Herbert Addo, Tony Lokko Set To Take Over

Accra Hearts of Oak has terminated the contract of head coach Herbert Addo. Ghanasportsonline.com can confirm.

The decision comes after the team’s exit from the MTN FA Cup competition.

Ghanasportsonline.com’s sources at the Club revealed that management of the Club on Tuesday held a meeting and came to a final conclusion to part ways with the former Ghana coach.

Addo has been under pressure following the team’s terrible performance in the domestic top-flight.

Hearts have struggled to maintain their consistency in the League as they lie 12th on the log with 26 points after 21 matches.

Ghanasportsonline.com understands that management are planning to compensate the 67-year-old with a three months salary payment.

Ghanasportsonline.com can further reveal that former Berekum Chelsea coach Tony Lokko would take charge of the Club.

The former Amidaus Professional trainer is expected to be unveiled by the Club before the end of the week.
