Andre Ayew Thrilled To Score Debut Goal For Swansea City

Swansea City winger Andre Ayew has expressed his excitement after scoring his debut goal for his Club in their 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
 
Ayew who was featuring his third game for his new Club scored in the 59th minute before Nottingham Forest winger Robert Tesche equalized for the Championships side.

The Ghanaian international has uttered delight at his first goal for the English Club hence hoping to score more goals for the team this season.

“It’s quite important to get my confidence quickly, and the guys have really helped me to settle in,Kyle made a good pass to me – I had a few like that in the game – and I had to battle with the defender before cutting in past the other so that I could score”

“I’m happy to score, but when you get goals it’s thanks to the players around you.

“Hopefully I can get plenty of goals for the team this season, but the most important thing is that the team wins. We will work as a team and support each other to do that.”

The 25-year-old joined Swansea after spending eleven seasons with French Ligue 1 giants Olympic Marseille.
