The Chief Executive Officer of Kumawood Akoben Film Festival Awards (KAFF –Awards), Samuel Darko, known in showbiz as Samdackus has refuted the clams that he celebrated his birthday at a club in the absence of his wife.

There was a report last weekend that the actor cum producer celebrated his birth day at Heavies Nite Club, Danyame a suburb of Kumasi in the absence of his wife Mrs. Grace Darko.

However, the report says he celebrated his birthday with only close friends and section of the industry players.

But responding to the issue on Hello fm Entertainment Review last Saturday, Samuel Darko confirmed the report that he celebrated his birthday at a nite club but was quick to add that he did it after organizing a separate party at home for his family.

He told Dave Hammer host of the show that, his wife decided not to show up at the nite club for her personal reasons.

"I must say that my wife (Grace Darko) was fully aware that my birthday bash would be at a nite club, so she personally decided not to attend and I see nothing wrong with it, moreover, as a public figure I have adopted a strategy to keep my better half indoors to avoid any break up of marriage as it happened to our brother Agya Koo and other celebrities."
