NPP Suffering From Atychiphobia (Fear Of Failure)

As we head towards the 2016 general elections, the New Patriotic Party has begun showing symptoms of Atychiphobia, a devoted member of the National Democratic Congress has observed.

Alhaji Dori claims the disease which is connected to an abnormal, unwarranted, and persistent fear of failure engulfed the NPP right after their failed bid to convince the Electoral Commission to compile a new voters’ register.

The NDC scribe who is gunning to be the next Member of Parliament for Bawku Central also lashed out at the NPP for alleging in a press release that some groups of persons; probably from government quarters were appealing to some registered voters to submit their voters’ ID cards in exchange for employment in the public service.

A release which was signed by the NPP’s Communications Director, Nana Akomea urged voters to refuse any request from any quarters to submit their Voters’ ID cards.

But Alhaji Dori wondered why the NPP chose to create fear and panic without even substantiating their allegation with fact and figures.

In an interview with Peacefmonline.com, he stated that “the NPP is sensing a massive defeat ahead of the 2016 elections and the fear of failing to meet the people's aspiration of winning the general elections for Nana Addo is leading the leadership of the party to put out unfounded allegations through press releases”.
