Swansea Coach Garry Monk Hails Leadership Qualities Of Andre Ayew

Swansea City manager Gary Monk has lauded the leadership qualities of Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew. Monk who signed Ayew from Olympique Marseille prior to the start of the 2015/16 Barclays Premiership has been caught by the alluring acts of the 25-year-old in the dressing room. The Black Stars deputy skipper exhibits his trademark off the pitch by giving pep talks to his teammates which has eventually caught the attention of his manager. �I knew the player he was and what he could contribute,� Monk said. �I thought he would be perfect for the group, because he�s a leader as well. He talks to all the players and he�s very experienced.� �Even though he�s still young, he�s a very experienced international and he passes that knowledge onto the group, which is great.� �All in all, he�s played an important part in our pre-season and I�m sure he will throughout the season.� Ayew is known to be a Charismatic leader since his days with the Ghana U20 team when he led them to make history by winning the 2009 FIFA World Youth Championships in Egypt. The Ghanaian international has so far scored twice in two Premier League appearances for Swansea this season.
