National Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential aspirant, George Boateng has threatened to sack certain known faces from the party if he wins the mandate to lead the political party.

George Boateng in an interview on Adom FM said he would axe party General Secretary, Asiedu Nketia, National Communication Director, Solomon Nkansah and Deputy Secretary, Koku Anyidoho and several "babies with sharp teeth" from the family for bringing shame upon the party.

“I will sack the likes of Solomon Nkansah, Asiedu Nketia, Koku Anyidoho and several of the babies with sharp teeth from the party if I get the nod to lead the party…they have brought shame unto the party…,” he said.

George Boateng picked forms to contest President John Mahama in the upcoming primaries of the party citing the gross mismanagement of the country as a reason.

According to him, Mahama has shown greater incompetence and hence has brought ‘severe’ economic hardship not only on known NDC members but on Ghanaians in general.

Thus as a solution, George Boateng is seeking to beat President Mahama in the polls and liberate Ghanaians from the clutches of the Mahama-led administration.

Responding to claims by leaders of the NDC that he is not mentally sound, George Boateng said he was quite sure it was the likes of Solomon Nkansah who are mentally derailed hence hampering the progress of the country.

According to him, it is never true that he has not picked forms to contest President Mahama as has been claimed by Johnson Asiedu Nketia.

George Boateng said he was quite sure there are numerous persons who are prepared to endorse his forms to enable him beat President Mahama in the primaries.
