I�ll Transform Madina �MP Aspirant Promises

An aspiring parliamentary candidate of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Madina Constituency of the Greater Accra region, Francis-Xavier Kojo Sosu, yesterday submitted his nomination papers amidst pomp and pageantry from his supporters to contest primaries slated on November 7, 2015. Addressing his teaming supporters after handing over his nomination papers at the party�s constituency office at Madina, the 36-year-old human rights lawyer promised a leadership that will be based on trust and commitment to his mission and vision. He gave the assurance that he will transform Madina constituency through business development. Campaigning on the theme: �New Hope of Madina, Loving the People, Caring for the People,� Mr. Sosu averred that his leadership will be built on developing the businesses of the constituents so as to create wealth which will automatically contribute to the development of the area and the people. The lawyer asserted that he has achievable ideas for his community and promised to work with his people so as to bring the needed transformation, and appealed to delegates to vote for him during the primaries so that he will make his vision and mission manifest in their lives. He pledged to revamp the falling standard of education in the area when elected to become the MP for Madina. He again promised to improve health facilities in the constituency. According to the aspiring parliamentary candidate, Madina needs a new leader to address the health and education needs of the constituents. Against this background, he appealed to the delegates to vote for him massively come November 7 to enable him achieve his aim to transform Madina and also improve the lot o the constituents. He also observed that improving education in the area needed everybody on board. He disclosed that he will bring teachers, parents, opinion leaders and chiefs on board to help curb the falling standard of education in Madina. He again promised to make sure that the inhabitants within the constituency take advantage of the business opportunity in the area and upgrade themselves. He expressed sadness about rumours circulating in the area that he was new and none of the people in the area knew him as a resident of Madina, assuring that he was a true son of Madina community. Some youth within Madina in an interview with Today indicated that Mr. Sosu had a bright chance of winning the primaries, stressing that �we are solidly behind him and will vote massively for him.� They also said Mr. Sosu�s chances were so bright that they will be surprise if he does not win the contest.
