My Love For Mahama Is Forever Akua Donkor

Flagbearer and founder of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) has accused the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Bosiako of scheming to destroy the cordial relationship she has with President John Mahama.

According to Madam Akua Donkor, the NPP Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi together with some members of the Progressive Peoples Party (PPP) and the United Front Party (UFP) are behind a tape in which she is heard making unsavoury comments about the president.

On the secret recording played on Kumasi-based Kessben FM, a voice purported to be that of Akua Donkor is heard accusing President Mahama of masterminding the death of late President Atta Mills.

She is also among other things said to have accused the president of aiding Chinese galamsey miners to pollute water bodies in mining communities across the country and urged Ghanaians not to vote for President Mahama in the 2016 elections.

But reacting to the issue on Adom News Monday, a livid Akua Donkor said the voice has been doctored. “You know I can never say such evil things against a President who has done nothing than to better the lives of Ghanaians” she stated.

The GFP leader expressed shock at the wicked intent of some opposition party members just to win power. “I know Wontumi, Charles Owusu of PPP and Djaba Ba of UFP are behind this tape because they want to destroy the cordial relationship I have with Mahama” she stressed.

The GFP leader noted that her opponents are jealous of the freebies she is getting from government thus the evil ploy. “Tell my critics to go and burn the sea because my ‘love’ for Mahama is forever” she scoffed.

Akua Donkor added that she is forced to invoke the dreaded Antoa deity on them but “I have given everything to God because I know I’m innocent.

“The NPP and other opposition parties will never win any election in Ghana so far as I support Mahama. He is doing well so they should come and join the winning team” she opined.
