Spio-Gabrah Fun Club Expresses Gratitude to Prez. Mahama

A group calling itself Spio-Gabrah fun club in the Western Region have expressed gratitude to the President for his recent visit to the region.

In a statement signed by Kofi Adams the Convener of the Fun Club, “the recent visit by H.E John Mahama, is the sense of unity that characterized his visit, as well as evidence of his good work throughout the region, couple with the assurance and commitment by President Mahama towards changing lives and transforming Ghana.” 

“It was also a joyous moment when he assured the chiefs of the western region to submit. Proposals for our share of the oil revenue which will go a long way to speed up development in our region.”

According to the Spio-Gabrah Fun club, it is also necessary to acknowledge the fact that the President’s visit is also to accord the delegates of our great party the National Democratic congress,(NDC) the necessary respect by coming down to the people to seek reaffirmation of his candidature as the unopposed presidential candidate of our great party the NDC.

To Mr. Adams, the Fun Club wants to reassure and affirm its unflinching support to the candidature of President Mahama and also call on other youth groups and members of NDC to come out in their numbers next month to vote a resounding ‘yes’ for President Mahama.

“We the members of the Spio Garbrah fun club humbly reiterate the call by the President to all parliamentary aspirants to adhere to the party and its leader's directives, to accept in good faith the outcome of the NDC presidential and parliamentary primaries, in other to foster unity before during and after the said election” the statement read.
