A Member of the communication team of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) has declared the Atta Mills-led administration better than the current Mahama led-administration.
According to Charles Owusu, former President John Evans Atta Mills’ administration is much better than his successor John Dramani Mahama.
His comparison came after Eastern Regionl Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Bismark Tawiah Boateng has claimed that his party made a 'mistake' by presenting the late John Evans Atta Mills for the 2008 elections.
According to him, the party knew very well that the late President who died some months to the 2012 General Elections was ill and could not perform the very tedious tasks required of a President but yet presented him just to win power.
But speaking on Adom FM’s morning show ‘Dwaso Nsem’ Monday, Charles Owusu said “even with his ill health, President Mills is far better than President Mahama”.
He said the NDC regional chairman will be getting things wrong if he thinks a country’s progressive governance will be measured by the health of the president.
“If it is the health of president that is used to rule a country, then he would be getting things wrong” he stated.
In the view of the PPP communicator, President Mills was a challenged man who performed well as a leader of the country unlike President Mahama "who has mismanaged and destroyed all the good" his predecessor left in his care.
Charles Owusu added: “Mahama is our problem. His administration is a disaster”.
