Paul Afoko Is A Trotro Being Driven By NDC

NPP Northern regional chairman Bugri Naabu says the decision to indefinitely suspend the National Chairman is good riddance because Paul Afoko was a mole working for the governing party.

“Paul Afoko is a ‘trotro’, the NDC is driving him… when you push him here, he goes,” he described the suspended chairman. He said the decision to elect Paul Afoko in April 2014 was a “serious mistake”.

He also cast doubt over the membership of Paul Afoko.

“Paul Afoko is not an NPP member. He is against NPP. He is against the NPP flagbearer and the vice-presidential candidate”

He said Paul Afoko’s preference to honour an invitation at the Flagstaff House when the party was fighting the NDC to retain its Talensi seat in a bye-election is sufficient evidence.

“He was drinking coffee and tea in the Flagstaff House. Everybody saw it”.

Paul Afoko joined other leaders of the various political parties at a swearing-in ceremony of the new chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Ms. Charlotte Osei.

Up north, the NPP and its flagbearer were canvassing support for the NPP candidate in the Upper East region. The bye-election was marred by political violence and the NPP lost the July bye-election.

For the NPP regional chairman, the absence of Paul Afoko shows he is not 100% NPP.
